Got a "new" mountain bike!

Ok it's not really new... but I just got a pretty good bike off of craigslist. I got it for $350.

Finals are over... and so am I?!?

Ok... the title is a little more dramatic than it needs to be 8D.

Seriously though, the final for my Computer Architecture class was soooo hard. The guy that usually leaves 45 min before the end of the test didn't even finish. In fact after talking to him, it sounds like he didn't even do most of the exam either.

That kinda makes me feel better, but I am still not too sure if I even passed. Will find out via e-mail though my final grade.

Studying for Finals...

I haven't been feeling too motivated to study for finals... I wonder if there is something wrong with me. Could it be that I've been bitten with Summer FEVER!

Oh man... I just found out my grade for my 2nd midterm (it was just 3 weeks ago)...

I got a 55/100!! Yikes! Good thing the range is pretty low...

Not too sure if I am going to pass this class. If I don't... I am not too sure if I should even continue to go to school. No real motivation, besides trying to get a MS in CmpE to get away from my current job. Tech support is so boring... although I have plenty of other work. Somtimes I feel like work is such a dead end. Meaningless work...

Finals?

Doh... It's that time of the year... That's right it's FINALS time! Crapola. Man I have a project due tomorrow, lab documentation to write up, and what else? WORK!

Blah... I hate Monday's.

Ok... I hate Monday days... just the daytime, because at night! It's 24!!!

Did anybody watch Grey's Anatomy tonight? Oh man... sooo suspenseful. Something must be wrong with me... cuz I love the show! Tomorrow (Monday) night they are going to have the season finale at 9pm... doh! This time slot coincides with 24! Damn what the heck do I watch? 24 or Grey's Anatomy?

The other problem? I don't get out of school until 8:45pm or later... UGH!

Side Note: Allergies SUCK!!! I feel so miserable right now.... and Claritin isn't doing anything to help!

Reminiscing about the past

For some reason today, I was reminiscing about my past. Well OK... I know why... It's because I am a damn procastinator, and I hate writing reports! Damn you CmpE200 and your stupid labs!

Anyways back to reminiscing...

I was feeling nostalgic about my junior high years. I am not too sure why. The reason might be, it's the only period I actually bought a yearbook? Ok college didn't have a year book.. but in High School, I was just too poor to afford one. Do I regret not buying one? Not really.

But I digress again...

I picked up my Quimby Oak Middle School 1992 Yearbook and starting to read some of the comments ppl left in them. I didn't have many friends back then, just like now. I decided to do a search on them.

funny aside: Mimi T. wrote "Dear Brandon, I have known you since first grade, but I know you don't remember me. Because no one ever remember's me even though I alwaysz seem to remember everyone, even if they forget me. Hey, I am writing with my eyes closed, so maybe this is a bit messy, but who cares? it's not my yearbook. You're a nice person, see y'someday -> Mimi" What's funny is, that when I look back at my life I don't have many accomplishments, and I remember being more un-noticed than most ppl. Heck ppl that graduated from Mt.Pleasant during my time, don't even remember me. oh well.

The only person who left a comment in my yearbook that came up on a search was Beth R.! She prolly doesn't remember me, but I remember she was an athletic, brilliant, and articulate girl. She was prolly one of the tallest girls of our class along with Rita O.

She turned up in a search and has an article in the Evergreen Times. Turns out that she went to Mitty after Quimby and earned a 4.74 GPA!! She has been serving our country as an aviator in the Navy. I salute you Beth for serving our country.
